Last summer I decided to take a break from my busy office job and travel by train across the country, partly to and partly to do something better for the environment. I’d been putting it off for ages, but in the end I after coming across an article online about how much carbon short flights produce. On the first day I felt a bit awkward sitting opposite strangers, yet a simple question about the view helped , and soon we were swapping tips on cheap places to stay and local food to try.
